I’ll tell you, after a couple months where NOBODY was announcing tours, it’s awfully hard to keep up with all the recent announcements. Yesterday another B.C. band, Rococode, announced their own cross-Canada itinerary.
The quartet also announced they will release their debut full-length (eleven tracks) album, titled “Guns Sex and Glory” on February 7, via Winnipeg’s Head In the Sand. The album was co-produced by Mother Mother frontman Ryan Guldemond, and co-produced by Rococode’s own Andrew Braun. It’s already gotten some serious attention thanks to a couple of tracks – “Ghost I” and “Ghost II” – being featured in Syfy’s Being Human just the other night.
( PS – I don’t know about you, but everytime I see this band’s name I still start belting out a chorus of Arcade Fire’s “Rococo”, which frankly, this band kinda reminds me of. Maybe that’s why )
Here’s the itinerary.
