Perhaps the most exciting news in my inbox yesterday was the announcement by New York’s Battles (who play mostly instrumental experimental rock) that they would be releasing a series of four “very special release remixes in 2012″. The series, titled “Dross Glop”, will start off with remixes of Battles tracks from Gui Boratto and The Field.
The other three 12″ (yep, all vinyl) will be released in succession when they’re ready.
Who clicked that ‘buy’ button faster than the Oilers defense giving up the pick in their own end this year? Yep, me.
