Peter Buzzelle

by New Music Michael on December 1 2010

Peter Buzzelle is a multi-instrumentalist indie rocker from Boston, who counts among his biggest influences Elliott Smith, Morrissey, Depeche Mode, and Band of Horses. His music is beautifully fluid, almost liquid perfection, fronted by guitar chords that are both exaggerated and mellow all at the same time. I had the privilege of listening to five of his tracks off of his ten-song album “To Telescope” – they’re all delicious little tracks that are both poignant as well as toe-tapping fun.

Peter’s first instrument was the drums, and was the drummer and founding member of the 90’s band Frequency dB. Peter relocated to Boston in 2000 and has been a solo musician since then, and along the way has become an incredibly talented guitarist as well.

Head on over to Peter Buzzelle’s website, where you can enter your email address to receive the track “A Dog Named Peanut” – you can also stream the song below (courtesy of his bandcamp site).
