Gardening not Architecture
Part of this year’s Vans Warped Tour, Gardening Not Architecture (myspace) have a sound that is not easily definable or sounds all too similar to any other band (“maybe” the Breeders?) – but their music is very intriguing, and listenable. The band is a joint project between singer-songwriter Sarah Saturday and engineer/producer Beau Sorensen. The duo’s first release was an EP in 2007, with their first full-length album “First LP” being released in May 2009. Take a listen to “Play It Cool”, and then “Disappointed”, and see what you think.
